Factory Five Cobra – Black Edition

There are Cobras that roar with nostalgia. And there are Cobras that roar with fury.

This project was born from scratch, but with one clear idea: not to replicate the past, but to reinterpret it. Dark, modern, defiant. That’s how we created the Cobra Black Edition, a handcrafted beast that blends power, presence, and attitude.

We started with a Factory Five chassis — as always, the best platform for building a sports car with an American soul. But this time, instead of the classic 427, we decided to go with a 347 Stroker block, built with high-performance components. The result? A brutal torque curve, instant acceleration, and a deep roar that needs no introduction. Compact, light, powerful. The perfect balance between muscle and response.

The look says it all. We dressed it in a deep dark gray, with a black racing stripe running from end to end like a war scar. Every detail is blacked out: grille, side pipes, wheels, badges. No chrome. No compromises. This Cobra doesn’t shine — it intimidates. And while it keeps the classic essence in its silhouette, it has a more aggressive stance: lower, wider, ready to strike. The black Halibrand-style wheels and thick-profile tires complete an image that asks no one’s permission. And the interior? Simple, functional, immersive. But with a nod to the musical soul we carry inside.

This car also comes equipped with a radio, Bluetooth, and a plug-in input for guitar. Yes, just like the first one… but this time, with a Black Edition guitar: an all-black Gibson Les Paul. A combo that turns the Cobra into an instrument of total expression. Because driving it is like composing a solo: every gear shift is a note, every burst of throttle an explosion. Pure rock and roll, with the smell of burnt rubber.

The Black Edition isn’t trying to imitate. It’s trying to provoke. It’s a modern Cobra — dark, fierce — a tribute to the rebellious spirit of the original Shelby, but reimagined for those who aren’t afraid to break the rules.
